Watching the River Run

Hello beautiful blog readers!

I was recently listening to one of my favourite musical duos - Loggins and Messina (am I dating myself??) and specifically the song "Watching the River Run". The lyrics really resonate with me and maybe you can also relate, especially during this time of isolation. They sing "when we're together, than you've got a lot, 'cause I am the river and you are the shore". So beautiful! I thought of all the challenges we face and how we're all "winding and swirling and dancing around", but still connected to the shore or those we love, on our collective journey forward. Following our passions while taking notice when we "pass by the old willow tree". Maybe another way of saying "smell the roses along the way".
