About Sheila Romard

Hello, Thank you for visiting my site. My original paintings are inspired by life as I see it in each moment everyday. Places I've traveled to, including my own backyard. I enjoy painting with both oil and watercolour. There's flexibility, depth and vividness with oil, and with watercolour, spontaneity and unexpected effects. I recently introduced gouache into the mix - I love it all! I grew up and still live in Ontario, Canada - where our landscapes are among the most beautiful. If you're interested in one of my hand-painted originals or have a vision of something beautiful you'd like as a custom painting, please message me. I'd be happy to hear from you. I hope you enjoy your visit here. Many Thanks! Sheila All works are...

I love this! The texture given to the grass and the waves truly brings motion into this scape.

Oh yes...this is an earlier piece from a few years ago and I remember painting very it spontaneously. You feel the breeze. I'm so glad you like this one!
