Artist's Description
Original art by Sheila Romard - Blue Heron was painted as part of my participation in the Bay of Quinte Remedial Action plan. The RAP was created to bring an awareness to the public and work to protect our wild life that exists in and around our lakes. The original photo was taken by Marilou Dziuban, which was in the top 10 photos. Artists were then invited to recreate the photos in any medium and all were showcased in a special art exhibit in Belleville ON 2016.It was a great honour to be a part of this event. Hope you enjoy this watercolour!

Hello, Thank you for visiting my site. My original paintings are inspired by life as I see it in each moment everyday. Places I've traveled to, including my own backyard. I enjoy painting with both oil and watercolour. There's flexibility, depth and vividness with oil, and with watercolour, spontaneity and unexpected effects.
