Original art by Sheila Romard - SNOW was inspired by our Ontario winters and the typical scene along our beautiful highways. I used mostly palette knife for this piece, giving the painting lots of juicy texture. Hope you enjoy!

Hello, Thank you for visiting my site. My original paintings are inspired by life as I see it in each moment everyday. Places I've traveled to, including my own backyard. I enjoy painting with both oil and watercolour. There's flexibility, depth and vividness with oil, and with watercolour, spontaneity and unexpected effects. I recently introduced gouache into the mix - I love it all! I grew up and still live in Ontario, Canada - where our landscapes are among the most beautiful.
